Overview
The “Hertog van Alva” room is an attractive meeting room, in the main building complex, with a special light. A municipal drawing from the Utrecht Archives is displayed on a wall. The wall can be removed to create the king-size “Hertogen” room. The skylights built into the ceiling impart a special daylight. The name of the room, refers to the ‘Iron Duke’ Fernando Álvarez de Toledo y Pimentel, better known as Alva.
